The Kolunga Village Foundation has been asked by the villagers to support a dairy goat rearing project. This fits in beautifully with our mission statement of creating and implementing sustainable projects as identified by the village residents that provide education, better health and general well being. We are keen to comply with their request.

In a nutshell, the Dairy Goat project is set up such that the villagers themselves select forty families to participate in the project. Ten of these families will receive goats. The selected families then must plant fodder, for zero-grazing of the goats, and choose three other families to work peripherally in the project. Thus, the project has satellite units of four families, with each family receiving fodder planting and goat rearing training.
Purchase an entire goat for $350, or any portion and these donations will go into our goat fund to help one family at a time. Each donor will receive a letter of gratitude and a small toy goat in a really cool package symbolizing their generosity in helping our dairy goat project become reality.
